While perusing headlines this morning, found this meaningful article in The Times-Standard to share . . .
In many ways this Thanksgiving takes on new meaning as we reflect on what we are truly thankful for and the truth is, it would seem we are all thankful for many of the same things.
Our families and friends, those serving overseas so far away from their loved ones and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, the laughter of children, a beautiful sunrise and sunset, our community’s many volunteers who selflessly give to others, reconnecting with long-lost friends, a life well lived …
The list goes on and on, with many more things to add.
If we all take the time to look closely, we’ll see that we as a community have far more in common than that which separates us. And that in itself is something to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving.
